Everything on this site can be done by typing. Navigate with words or numbers, encode and decode, crack a shift cipher by brute force, take a journey where you choose the way, or work four cases with a plot running through them.

ls to see what is here. go ciphers, go signals, go hiding, go ctf. Or type a number from the front screen.

Work a cipher

encode shift MEET AT NOON hides it. decode rail BIGH MPRN TEAQ reads it back. morse SOS spells it out. crack <text> tries all twenty-five shifts.

Take a journey

story puts you in an attic with a locked box and lets you choose the way. missions gives you four cases, and every answer moves the plot on.

Two useful keys

ctrl+m opens the machine mid-story, then drops you back. ~ opens the terminal from any page on the site.
